Today I consider myself an iphoneographer. But my photography journey began with a camera.

Photography came to me suddenly. I took little more than snapshots until 1999 when I bought an SLR and 20 rolls of film and went to the Galapagos, not having any idea what I was doing.

Viewing the world through a camera seemed the most natural thing in the world. I had found my medium. From that first film SLR, then through several DSLRs, I came to eventually use only my iPhone, which has become an ever-improving and more-powerful tool as the years have gone by.
